My project is composed of several audio files. I have mostly followed my guts feeling. I discovered the artist DJ Screw. Dj Screw was the leader of Houston's Screwed Up Click movement. The genre of hip hop is quite interesting they are slowing down the music and adding effect to it. I do not have any skills nor knowledge in music, so I decide to slow down song using some programmes and I did some research about it. I have slowed down the song Money from Pink Floyd, to an extreme of 8h. I have only uploaded a part of the introduction.

Then I started messing around with other settings of the program and discovered a sort of white noise or hum, that’s where I started researching about THE HUM. While doing my research I came across “the hum” from Kristen Gallernaux. That is how is born my own HUM.

After slowing down some songs, I decided to speed up songs to see what would happen. And I’ve created the QR BL, a soundtrack of the 20 best songs on Queen and the Beatles for those who need some catch up in their general music knowledge. Playing in your left ear The Beatles and Queen in your right ear.
