My work is inspired by the philosophical dialectical method , thesis-antithesis-synthesis . Thesis and antithesis are two opposing forces that create ( synthesise ) something new out of this contradiction. My idea was to work with the opposite of composition and decompose a track .The audio track is trying to mimic the stages that occur when something is decaying and incorporates basic principles of decomposition such as subtraction, cycle of decay , and response to enviromental changes that affect this process. To create that effect i composed the initial melody which is looping as it subtracts by every repetition and it’s loosing it’s frequencies as well. As the track progresses we can identify the disruption that occurs in the core of this track living organism that decays as time progresses until it finally dies. This experiment is aiming to reverse the creative process of composition and focus on its destructive part.
